A webcast from the Construction Marketing Association (CMA) will evaluate the BIG 4 social networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter), and new options including Google+ and new social media marketing options including Google+. Numerous case studies will demonstrate social media best practices. Results of a national survey will be presented. The free webcast for members and non-members is scheduled for Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at 1 pm CDT.
Panelists include CMA member and Caterpillar Inc. Social Media Strategist Brian Stokoe, Heather Dolan, Asphalt Commercialization Manager at MeadWestvaco Specialty Chemicals, and CMA Chairman Neil M. Brown.

ABOUT Neil M. Brown
Neil Brown is Chairman of the Construction Marketing Association. He has been CEO of numerous marketing consulting and creative agencies for the past 15 years, managing some of the biggest brands in the construction sector including Emerson Electric, USG and Bosch Tools. Prior to the agency-side, Brown was a brand manager at electrical products marketing powerhouse IDEAL Industries, and later CMO of an architectural metals manufacturer. Neil is a frequent speaker, author and contributor to BtoB magazine, Advertising Age, Marketing Week and the Construction Marketing Blog. He holds a BS–Marketing from Southern Illinois University, and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. In 2012, he published the book, Tools of the Trade: Modern Marketing for Construction Brands.
ABOUT Heather Dolan
As MWV’s Asphalt Commercialization Manager, Heather Dolan uses social media to tell stories of customer successes, share new technology developments, and drive business growth for Evotherm® warm mix asphalt technology. Her career focuses on bringing new products through the research and development process to commercial launch and sales acceleration. Heather has a BS in chemistry with geology minor from Boston University and a MS in chemical engineering from Clemson University.
