Architectural Record Sweepstakes
Architectural Record has an established reputation as a provider of CEU articles and online testing to achieve the CE credits. Therefore, Architectural Record used the impressive milestone of 1 million CEU tests taken as a strategic opportunity to create a sweepstakes that both increased reader engagement by incentivizing more test takers and as a way to boost sponsored CEU courses.
The results were outstanding. The CEU Million sweepstakes resulted in 37 sponsors and $500,000 in revenue. The month the sweepstakes launched they had the highest number of monthly page views on the site this year – over 352,000 – and 49% more unique visitors than last year at this time. The number of tests taken were significantly higher than last year.
