Paul Deffenbaugh, Editorial Director of Modern Trade Communications, publisher of Metal Construction News and Metal Architecture magazines
His illustrious career includes Editorial Director at Reed Construction Media that included Professional Builder, Professional Remodeler, Customer Builder, and more. In addition, he was Editor-In-Chief of Remodeling magazine at Hanley-Wood. Paul is a founding board member of the Construction Marketing Association. CMA Chairman Neil Brown
Neil will detail the results of the national study of content marketing in construction, along with a list of top content marketing strategies and tactics. Over more than 20 years, he has managed award-winning marketing for some of the most successful brands in the construction sector including Emerson Electric, USG and Bosch Tools. Prior to the agency-side, Brown was a brand manager at electrical manufacturer IDEAL Industries, and later CMO of an architectural metals manufacturer. Neil is a frequent speaker, author and contributor to BtoB magazine, Advertising Age, Marketing News and the Construction Marketing Blog. He holds a BS–Marketing from Southern Illinois University, and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. In 2012, he published the book, Tools of the Trade: Modern Marketing for Construction Brands.
